Information you give us
When you fill out a form on our site or email us, we collect what you send, such as your name, email address, company, the services you're interested in and your message. We use it to reply to you and to talk with you about working together.
Information collected automatically
Website visitor identification. We use RB2B, a third-party service, on our website. RB2B uses a script and cookies to identify some visitors to our site. When it can make a match, it may share information such as your name, business email address, job title, company, LinkedIn profile URL and the pages you viewed. We use this information to understand which businesses are interested in our services and to contact people who may be a good fit by email or LinkedIn. RB2B's handling of data is covered by its own privacy policy at rb2b.com.
Hosting and technical data. Our site is hosted by Netlify, which processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to serve and secure the site.
Embedded content and fonts. Some pages show videos from YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and load fonts from Google Fonts. These services may receive your IP address and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, visitor identification and email verification tools, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: every email we send can be stopped by replying "unsubscribe" or using the opt-out link, and we'll stop contacting you.
- Opt out of identification: email hello@commonthread.social and we'll delete any visitor identification data we hold about you. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Access or deletion: email us to ask what information we hold about you or to have it deleted. We'll respond within 30 days.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Our site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
